Jason Brown is the CEO of Called Higher Studios, the world’s first Christian fan-owned movie studio. His passion to see the name of Christ spread through media, film, television and now children’s books, drives his passion for all of their faith-based projects.
Illustrator
Art Mawhinney has been interested in animated characters since he was a child. In the early 90's, he began storyboarding for television and has since boarded on over 35 different TV shows including RugRats, Sonic the Hedgehog and Madeline. His childhood dreams came true when Art applied his talent to illustrate movie tie-in books for Disney, Dreamworks and Blue Sky productions. To date, he’s illustrated over 125 children’s books, with many featuring licensed characters like Go Diego Go, Lion King, Cars, Winnie the Pooh, Care Bears and Disney Princesses. Art enjoys a wide variety of characters and styles and has contributed on animated feature films and live action films such as Star Wars, The Good Dinosaur, Star Wars Rebels, Frozen, Inside Out, Zootopia, and many others.
